Weeks 5-6 you’ll notice the hair is thickening as it’s time for another treatment. Hair reduction will be at 10% at this stage.

Sessions 7 - 12

Good things take time! Depending on hair and skin color, at this point in the game your hair growth will be extremely minimal with the end result of a few slight, very thin hairs that can be easily taken off with a razor. Your technician will customize a touch up plan that will be suitable for your personal needs.

PRE-TREATMENT CARE

BEFORE WE MEET…

A few things to NOTE

5-6 WEEKS PRIOR TO TREATMENT

  • All tanning and use of sunless tanning products should be completely avoided as clean, natural, untanned skin will allow for the most effective treatments.

  • Tanning is a strong factor on the quantity of sessions needed and will negatively impact your results.

2-4 WEEKS PRIOR TO TREATMENT

  • Avoid waxing, plucking, threading, depilatory creams or bleaching agents on the treatment area(s) as the follicle needs to be untouched for a successful treatment.

  • Chemical peels should be avoided.

  • Continue to avoid the sun and sunless tanning products.

1 WEEK PRIOR TO TREAMTMENT

  • Exfoliate the surface of your skin to remove dead skin cells from the follicles.

  • Avoid taking antibiotics, blood thinners as well as acne medications such as alpha hydroxy and beta hydroxyl products (AHA/BHA), hydroquinone, Accutane, Retin-A, and Differin for 7 days before treatment (if approved by your physician).

  • For clients who are prone to cold sores we strongly recommended taking an anti-viral medication prior to your treatment.

DAY OF TREATMENT

  • Shave the treatment area thoroughly. The closer the shave the more comfortable the treatment will be.

  • Ensure a clean, dry, makeup-free, untanned treatment area.

POST-TREATMENT CARE

After We’ve MET…

A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER

What you do after your session is just as important to the preparation. It is vital to follow all after care advise to prevent adverse reactions.

DAY OF TREATMENT (24-48 HOURS POST)

  • Redness, itchiness, tingling and sunburn-like sensations are normal.

  • Apply SPF on the treatment site to prevent skin discoloration.

  • Apply aloe if redness or tenderness persists.

  • Avoid makeup for 24 hours on the treated area.

1 WEEK POST TREATMENT

  • After your treatment it is perfectly fine to shave the area(s) you have had treated as this will assist in the hair shedding process.

  • Apply SPF on the treatment site to prevent skin discoloration.

2-3 WEEKS POST TREATMENT

  • As the growth cycle shifts, you’ll notice regrowth occurring in a lighter, thinner and slower pattern.

  • Stubble, representing dead hair being shed from the hair follicle, may appear within 7-21 days from the treatment date.

  • Shedding appears as stubble or blackheads pushing out of the follicle.  Exfoliating is most important during this process so the hairs can shed easier.

  • Shaving should continue.

  • Apply SPF on the treatment site to prevent skin discoloration.

4-5 WEEKS POST TREATMENT

  • As the cycles continue to change, more hair may appear to grow during this time as the follicles are filling back up prior to your next treatment.

  • Shaving should continue.

  • Apply SPF on the treatment site to prevent skin discoloration.
